How to Build an E-Commerce Website Using AI Builder

Use this guide to create an online store using the Build With AI option in the WebOps Website Builder.

From signing in to launching your site, you’ll have a live, fully responsive e‑commerce storefront in minutes—no coding required.


Before You Begin

  • Account: Make sure you have an active WebOps account.

  • Plan Selection: You can choose between a free trial or any paid plan that supports e‑commerce features.

  • Assets on Hand: Have your business name, description, logo file, and contact details ready.


1. Sign In to Your Dashboard

  1. Go to app.thewebops.com and click Sign In.

  2. Enter your email and password.

  3. Once authenticated, you’ll land on your main Dashboard.


2. Choose to Create Your Free or Paid Website

  1. In your Dashboard, click Create New Site.

  2. Select whether you’d like to start with our Free Trial or pick a Paid Plan.

  3. Click Continue.


Step 3: Select Build With AI

  1. Once your site is ready:

  2. Click Start Building

  3. Choose Build With AI

  4. This launches the AI setup wizard.


4. Tell Us About Your Business

  1. Business Name: Type in your store’s name exactly as you’d like it to appear.

  2. Business Type: Choose from dropdown options (e.g. Retail, Fashion, Electronics).

  3. Language: Select your primary site language (Arabic, English, etc.).


5. Craft Your Brand Story

  • In the Business Description field, write a short summary (1–2 sentences) about what you sell and who you serve.

  • Tip: Click Improve Using AI to instantly enhance your description for maximum impact.


6. Add Your Contact Information

Provide essential details so customers can reach you:

  • Email

  • Phone Number

  • Address (street, city, postal code)

  • Social Media Links (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)


7. Select Your Imagery

Explore our library of hundreds of high-quality, royalty-free images to use on your website.

  1. Click on the search bar to see AI-suggested keywords you can choose from, or type your own search terms like “fashion storefront” or “tech gadget” to narrow results.

  2. Browse the Search Results and click on any image that match your brand vibe to select it.

  3. Use Upload Your Images to add and use your own photos.

  4. View and manage your selections anytime under Selected Images.


8. Pick Your Template

  • In the Templates panel, you’ll see a gallery of over 300 professionally designed themes.

  • Browse by category or style to find one that suits your store.


9. Filter for E‑Commerce Layouts

  1. Type “e‑commerce” into the template search bar.

  2. All e‑commerce–optimized designs will surface first.

  3. Hover over a design and click Select to apply it.


10. Customize Your Look & Feel

  1. Open the Design Settings panel.

  2. Adjust Colors, Fonts, and Spacing to match your brand guidelines.

  3. Upload your Logo and reposition it in the header.

  4. Don’t forget to toggle Mobile and Tablet previews to ensure your site looks great on every device.


11. Select Your Website Features

In this final step, choose the features you want to include on your website. These tools help define how your site works and what visitors can do on it.

  • Blog

  • Page Builder

  • Contact Form

  • eCommerce

  • Free Live Chat

Make sure to select the eCommerce feature to build your website with online selling capabilities.


12. Build & Publish

  1. Click Start Building and let our AI engine assemble everything into a live website.

  2. Sit tight, this usually takes under 60 seconds.

  3. Once your website is ready, you can choose to:

    • See Your Website to view your newly created site.

    • Visit Dashboard to start editing and managing your website right away.

🎉 Congratulations! You now have a fully functional, AI‑powered e‑commerce website.


Next Steps

From your WordPress dashboard, you can manage your store and configure WooCommerce to run and grow your e-commerce website.

  • Add Products: Go to Products tab under the WooCommerce tab, then Add New Product to upload your products, add descriptions, and set prices.

  • Configure Payments: Visit Settings → Payments to connect Stripe, PayPal, or other gateways (you can find more details in connecting Stripe account article.

  • Set Up Shipping: Under Settings → Shipping, define your rates and regions.

  • Launch Promotions: Use the Marketing tab to create discount codes and email campaigns.
