If you already own a domain from another provider (such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains), you can easily connect it to your WebOps website by updating your DNS settings.
This guide will walk you through the full process step by step.
Step 1: Open the Connected Domains Page
Log in to your WebOps dashboard.
From the left menu, click Connected Domains.
Click + Add New Domain.
Select Connect Existing Domain.
Step 2: Enter Your Domain Name
Enter your full domain name (example:
yourbrand.com).Click Connect.
You will now see the DNS records required to connect your domain.
Step 3: Log in to Your Domain Provider
Go to the website where you purchased your domain and log in to your account.
Open the DNS Management or Domain Settings section.
Step 4: Update Your DNS Records
Inside your domain provider’s DNS settings, update your records to match exactly what WebOps shows you.
Typically, you will add the following:
Type | Name | TTL | Value |
A | @ | 60 mins | Server IP shown |
Paste them into your DNS settings exactly as shown.
If you're using Cloudflare, make sure to turn off their “Proxy” option for this record — it can block our system from verifying correctly.
Step 5: Verify Your Domain
Return to your WebOps dashboard.
Click Verify next to your domain.
Once verified, your domain will show as Connected ✅
⏳ DNS propagation may take 30–60 minutes, and in some cases up to a few hours.
Setting a Primary Domain (Optional)
If you have more than one domain connected, you can choose your main domain:
Click the three-dot menu next to the domain.
Select Update.
Enable Is Primary.
Click Update.
All visitors will be automatically redirected to your primary domain.
